Splendor on the Grass

"Flamingos2," June 14, 2008. Nikon D80, Nikkor 60mm Macro lens, f/2.8, 1/2000 sec, ISO 100. Chicago, Illinois, USA.

I wonder what the percentage of people who non-ironically put pink flamingos in their front yards is compared to people who do it to be kitschy-funny? & what is the relative popularity of pink flamingos vs. garden gnomes or other animal statues? What is the most popular lawn ornament out there? & why don't you see more of those wooden cutouts of a lady bending over in the flower bed so that you can see her underpants? I suspect it's just that people don't know where to buy them. They are incredibly humorous.
